Visitor Identification – Cookies and Logs
When you visit Despro’s website, information is stored on your device in the form of a “cookie.” Cookies are small files stored on your device that save certain settings and information that your browser shares with our website.

Cookies allow us, for example, to customize our website to better match your interests or to store your password so that you do not have to enter it every time you use the site. As a general rule, we never collect personal data through cookies unless you have expressly consented to it.

If you do not want us to recognize your device, configure your internet browser settings to delete all cookies from your device, block all cookies, or warn you before a cookie is stored. Below are short instructions on how to do this.

Please note that some functions of the website may not work, or may not work properly, without cookies.

Types of Cookies
Cookies can be divided into four categories depending on their function and purpose: strictly necessary cookies, performance cookies, functional cookies, and cookies for marketing purposes.

Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are needed to browse Despro’s website and for the basic functions of the website to work, such as creating anonymous session IDs to bundle several related queries on the server.

Performance Cookies
Performance cookies collect information related to the use of our website, including, for example, the internet browsers and operating systems used, the domain names of previously visited websites, the number of visits, their average duration, and the pages loaded.
These cookies do not store any information that would allow the user to be personally identified. The information collected is aggregated and thus remains anonymous. The purpose of performance cookies is to improve the user-friendliness of the website and thereby enhance the user experience. These cookies can be blocked by creating an exception cookie.

Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the website to store previously entered information (such as username, language selection, or user location) to offer users better and more personalized functions. Additionally, functional cookies enable features like video playback and ensure that users’ decisions to block or disable certain features (e.g., web analytics) remain in effect (“Opt-Out Cookie”).

Cookies for Marketing Purposes
Cookies created for marketing purposes are used to provide more relevant content to users based on their interests. They are also used to limit the frequency of ad displays and to measure and manage the effectiveness of ad campaigns. They register whether users have visited the website and what content was accessed. This information may also be shared with third parties, such as advertisers.
