Electrical Network Maintenance

During electrical network maintenance inspections, we assess the compliance of network components such as power poles, transformers, and distribution cabinets with regulations. We verify the accuracy of markings, identify any repair needs, and ensure that observations made in the field align with the data recorded in the system. If necessary, we update the information or provide the client with a list of actions they can choose to implement. We also perform any required measurements to ensure the network’s proper function and safety

Our helicopter inspection services include real-time condition assessments of the power grid, photography, and laser scanning services. The power grid can be inspected and photographed in real time during flights according to the customer’s needs. This enables the rapid identification of faults and clearance requirements, allowing for cost-effective repairs immediately after the flights.

Alternatively, the power grid can also be photographed, laser-scanned, and inspected as a separate service. The data obtained through laser scanning enables precise and cost-efficient maintenance of vegetation near the power grid and its components.

We assess the need for network renewals and deliver cost-effective recommendations for network refurbishments. This includes presenting different options, their cost implications, and timeline estimates. The planning can also be done in smaller, more focused scopes depending on the specific needs of the client

In the event of faults and major disturbances, we support network operators by working within fault response organizations and managing regional response teams. Additionally, we assist with fieldwork, such as isolating faults within the electrical network, ensuring quick and effective restoration of service. Our expertise helps minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency during critical situations

We provide turnkey vegetation management services for energy and infrastructure operators. Our services include vegetation clearance, logging, landowner negotiations, as well as project supervision and reporting according to the client’s requirements.

If needed, we also act as an external consultant for vegetation management projects, overseeing operations or assisting with tasks such as preparing work instructions and training workers for the project.

We carry out cable location measurements and inspections according to the client’s accuracy requirements, utilizing GNSS and total station equipment. During the survey, we can also determine cable installation depths. These surveys and inspections can be performed during construction, final site inspections, or for updating the documentation of existing networks. We transfer and store the data directly into the client’s systems.

We perform a wide range of grounding and related measurements, including grounding impedance measurements, continuity tests, soil resistivity measurements, touch voltage measurements, and verification of grounding system interconnections.

Partial discharge measurements are a crucial part of both commissioning and maintaining medium and high-voltage networks. These tests ensure that cables, joints, and terminations are free from material or installation defects. We are equipped to perform partial discharge testing on medium-voltage networks using the offline method and can perform online testing up to 400kV. In addition to partial discharge testing, we offer dissipation factor (tan delta) and VLF (Very Low Frequency) testing, which complement partial discharge measurements and provide more comprehensive data on the condition of the cable network and its accessories.
