Despro Engineering Oy has been selected as the service provider for the supervision, project management, and safety coordination of Helen Electricity Network Ltd’s electricity grid investment and maintenance projects. The contract also includes responsibilities such as issuing high-voltage network crossing statements and safety agreements for third parties, as well as supervising third-party construction sites.
The agreement is valid for three years with an option for two additional years. Despro brings extensive expertise and experience in supervising and managing electricity network construction projects. Previously, we have collaborated on energy meter replacement projects and grounding impedance measurements at substations.
The collaboration between Helen Electricity Network and Despro is expanding further. Between 2021 and 2024, Despro has provided Helen Electricity Network with supervision of electricity network construction, safety coordination, and project management services. The new contract period continues this strong and effective partnership.

Electricity Network Construction Management & Supervision
Electricity network construction requires a skilled project organization to succeed. We act as the client’s electricity network construction manager and project manager, guiding the project’s execution while overseeing the site’s schedule, quality, and safety. We participate in site and project-related meetings and review the contractor’s documentation for their work. If necessary, we handle complaints on behalf of the client and manage communication with landowners and authorities. We report on progress according to the agreed practices with the client. If needed, we also serve as the client’s safety coordinator on a project-specific basis.
